When Alicia and Nick asked if they could have a champagne picnic for their winter engagement session my heart skipped a beat. Timing snow in the winter in Buffalo can be extremely tricky but we got extremely lucky because that day wasn’t -10° and there was a golden hour after grey skies had passed. Akron Falls, NY is one of my favorite spots for photos because it’s a very manageable 3 minutes hike from the parking lot, you can even do it in heels lol. 

I met Alicia through a mutual friend and it makes me so happy to have her and her boo as a client. Their chemistry together is so easy going and they are just a riot to be around. Even though they had to postpone their 2020 wedding to 2021 due to Covid, I just know it’ll be worth the wait. It’s going to be such a riot and I know there will be more champagne chugging I need to photograph!
