Danielle and Jonathan’s eclectic Rochester, New York wedding was straight out of a magazine. This sweet, adventurous couple tied the knot at The Historic German House in downtown Rochester, New York. Capturing this chapter of Danielle and Jonathan’s love story was truly such an honor. I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I still get in my feels scrolling through their photos to this day.
Prior to Danielle and Jonathan’s big day, I was chatting with the couple about what parts of the day they were both excited for. Without hesitation, Danielle said that (besides marrying her best friend), she was most excited for the getting ready portion of the day. She was very adamant about spending quality time with her best friends and all of the strong, influential women in her life as she got ready to say “I do”. And you guys… just wait until you see the bridal suite (two words… jewel. tones.) Capturing both the bride and the groom with their people was so special. The amount of love, support, and strength surrounding Danielle and Jonathan on their wedding day still gives me chills to think about.
After an incredible morning spent with the wedding party, it was time for the bride and groom to tie the knot. One of their best friends officiated the wedding (which was enough to bring everyone to tears). But what really did me in was the heartfelt vow exchange between Danielle and Jonathan. Their entire wedding ceremony was full of intention and so much joy. Once the sweet couple were officially married, it was time to get the party started! The reception space and decor were absolutely perfect for the vibe that the couple was going for. Being the big music-lovers that they are, they had records in lieu of table numbers AND live music. Their guests were such a blast to dance with and celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs.
Danielle and Jonathan’s eclectic Rochester, New York wedding will forever be in my heart. There is just something about weddings that incorporate so much of a couple’s style and personalities that make such a huge difference. So please, take this as your sign to do whatever the heck you want at your wedding. You deserve it.
